The pupils have been abandoned on a desert island. They are all well but their phones are all dead-too many selfies on instagram! they must work in teams to come up with a solution to change thier mobile phone using resources off the island-I let them use parts they found on the plane too. There is a proforma to fill in for the research-some of mine were really inventive! *I have not included the research as mine used pages off bitesize but could easily be done on computer if available. One they have fedback they vote on the best. To review all of the information their are exam questions taken from the new AQA spec included. After that they feedback and

AQA combined science Chemistry simplified flashcards

Simplified flashcards for less able learners. These provide a starting point for revision and can also be used to help shape answers when looking at exam questions. I have kept these very simple and they do not include calculations or all of the higher tier content Presented in powerpoint, I would recommend printing 2 to a page and consider laminating if using as a class resource.

Huge bundle of resources on cells. This is aimed at low ability year seven pupils but could be easily adapted for primary lessons as well. Includes lesson and differentiated worksheets to use in the topic.

Simplified flashcards made with foundation students in mind. these can be used to encourage broken down revision as well as to aid students when structuring exam style answers. These are made on powerpoint but I find they print well 2 to a page to make flashcard size revision aids.

AQA C1 revision with exam questions and spec references

This is the entirety of C1 in a powerpoint. I have gone over each part of the spec including broken down version of the specification so pupils can break down their revision. There are past exam questions with examples of how to improve answers as well as information slides to improve learners knowledge. I got up to the end of metals in a two hour revision session so imagine the whole unit would take 3-4 lessons to cover in detail. I have used other's resources from TES in places but this is a handy way of having the whole topic ready to pick up and use for a series of revision lessons.

Before purchasing please ensure this link still works as resources are required from here: The project is based around life on the international space station would suit years 6-8. The first lesson uses resources in the pack to discover the different partners working on board the ISS. Lesson two uses the nets off the resource link to build a scale model of the ISS. i have made shots of what each part should look like that could be given to groups to help them visualise what they are making. (this will save you 3 hours cutting it out and assembling first). Lesson three is a basic ppt that guides you through the practical ,space nappies. lesson 4- basic ppt to use along side making foot pump rockets There are also differentiated booklets that go along side the project that guide the pupils through each activity. I have ran this twice in schools on science week (lower KS3) and they have enjoyed and discovered a lot from this, developing and enhancing the STEM skills they need,
