Based on animals from the ocean A Bingo game that will encourage a lot of discussions as you play :) I have created a bingo game for children to learn about different animals, their groups (classification), and features. There are 5 different boards, each with matching sets of pictures, names, group names, descriptions. Playing: Children attempt to match each animal with a picture card; then a name card; use the additional sets of cards to match each animal with its group; and then guess which animal it is when reading the description card. Children can check their answers - answer sheet for each bingo board included. Set of food clipart flashcards, Food Groups labels and Nutrients labels for sorting activities. Encourage children to identify foods that are healthier than others and the benefits that each type of food provides to stay healthy, and find out that nutrients can belong to more than one food group. You will need to cut and separate them to have individual flashcards and labels. Suggest laminating too for durability. The Three Little Pigs / Science / Materials This unit can be used alongside the story of The Three Little Pigs. It provides opportunities for the children to use science to investigate the materials product are made of and link it to their storytelling. Planning included! Through this small unit, children learn about the materials used in the story of The Three Little Pigs, found out where straw, wood and bricks (clay) come from, how they are used as building materials and their properties.,as well as describe and compare every day objects made of the same materials, and carry out 2 science experiments.
