6 worksheets to help Year 1 children practise word ordering and writing sentences with capital letters and full stops. Activities start off easy and progressively become more challenging.
Introducing our 14 engaging and colourful board games that are designed to help students master different levels of phonics! With a total of 14 games, each focusing on a specific spelling pattern or phonics rule, students will have ample opportunities to gain confidence and mastery through repetitive practice.
Studies have shown that games are a highly effective way of teaching phonics. They allow students to engage with the material in a fun and interactive way, while also providing opportunities for repetition and reinforcement. By using games that focus on just one specific spelling pattern or phonics rule at a time, students can hone their skills and build confidence in a way that is both enjoyable and effective.
The RWI (Read Write Inc.) Phonics programme is a highly regarded method for teaching phonics, and these board games are a perfect complement to the program. They provide students with additional opportunities to practice the skills they are learning and help to reinforce the key concepts and strategies taught through the RWI programme.
These games come in both colourful and black-and-white versions, giving you the option to print on your own coloured paper or let students colour them in. Each game is designed with attractive illustrations and clear instructions, making it easy for students to play independently or in small groups.
These games are perfect for a variety of settings, including whole-class games, small-group phonics lessons, literacy centers, warm-up activities, early finisher options, and even as homework for parents and students to enjoy together.
So if you want to give your students a fun and interactive way to learn phonics and support their learning through the RWI Phonics programme, look no further!

Enhance your child’s reading journey with our comprehensive RWI set 3 Phonics Flashcard Bundle. This bundle includes 159 green word cards and 20 flashcards, divided into two sets: one set with sound buttons and one set without for children who have mastered decoding. The RWI Phonics program uses systematic synthetic phonics to help children learn to read words, and these flashcards provide a visual and interactive way of practising and reinforcing these skills.
Flashcards are an effective tool for children as they offer a fun and engaging way to learn. By breaking down and blending letter sounds, children are able to build words and develop their reading skills. The sound buttons on the first set of cards provide extra support for children who are still developing their decoding abilities. This bundle is versatile and can be used in both online and classroom settings, making it the perfect addition to any RWI Phonics program. Give your child the gift of successful reading with our RWI Phonics Flashcard Bundle.
These green word cards also come in a black and white version if you want to print onto coloured card!
