Assessment 30 mark interpretations on causes of Western rebellion. Model answer for above interpretations. Can be further complemented by pages from Fellows Access to History but not essential as there is plenty of factual info included. Very detailed as I’ve been improving this over three years, learning from mistakes as I’ve gone along!

The first five are just knowledge and understanding ones almost like knowledge organisers but then the following ones are set up around 12 and 16 mark exam questions. You could always remove the knowledge if you wanted students to complete them themselves.

Two hour lesson on Stalin’s cultural revolution and use of propaganda including his development of the cult of personality in four stages to ensure control in Soviet Russia. Fully resourced but can be done more independently using the Corin and Feihn textbooks- if you have them- if not slides can be printed for each group because all info is on there from the textbook. I do the reading so you don’t have to!

Made for OCR ALevel Specification but can be used for any ALevel/ GCSE spec with minor tweaks- very detailed. These powerpoints and accompanying resources are all you need to teach/ learn the Causes of the October revolution in great depth I have even included an analysis section at the end to help with essay planning with arguments for each factor. Complete resources will be about 5-6 hours of teaching plus hwk. My resources are perfect for new teachers to Russia or students wanting highest grades- very detailed with all knowledge included. Alevel lessons on Tudor Rebellions This is work for 2 2 hour lessons plus homework on the Nature and Threat of the Western rebellion. The Western Rebellion is one of the key rebellions which students need to study in depth for OCR ALevel. This lesson has a retrieval starter based on previous lesson. Colour code, mapping exercise to learn the narrative of the rebellion. Includes a detailed timeline/ chronology of the Western rebellion which will save you hours as I had to put it together from many different sources. Also includes a huge A3 threat evaluation sheet broken down into key criteria used to evaluate threat. This is a depth study so resources are very detailed. Analysis of threat based on all work done so far and a conclusion as well as a key debate on how violent the western rebels were.

Alevel Russian History OCR -can be used for any spec/ GCSE if simplified Very comprehensive double 2 hour lesson plus homework on the Impact of WWI on Russia - Economics, Society and Politics and the Causes of the February Revolution Includes a very detailed powerpoint including retrieval tasks for previous work studied, including debates, e.g. how stable was Russia on eve of war? Was the February revolution from above or below? Looks at all political, economic and social effects of WWI follows my previous lesson on How stable was Russia in 1914.
