Lesson 1 involves the children identifying whether a line of symmetry is correct or incorrect and then challenged by drawing in the correct or missing lines.
Lesson 2 involves the children drawing all of the lines of symmetry on to 2D shapes including complex polygons as well as regular shapes. Extension activity involves the children investigating symmetry in the alphabet.
Lesson 3 involves the children identifying and drawing lines of symmetry into patterns/designs. The challenge activity: identifying a reflected pattern.
Lesson 4 involves the children completing symmetrical figures by reflecting across a mirror-line. The challenge activity: Complete a symmetrical figure on various different types of grids and questions for deeper understanding.
Lesson 5 involves the children completing symmetrical patterns by reflecting across a mirror-line. The challenge activity: Questions to encourage deeper thinking - solving symmetry problems.

This is a resource to generate arithmetic tests for Year 2. There are four separate generators. Test 1 is based on questions from the 2016 arithmetic Paper; Test 2 on questions from the 2017 paper; Test 3 on questions from the 2018 paper; Test 4 on questions from the 2019 paper; and Test 5 on questions from the 2022 paper.
Each test can be randomised to create as many tests as you require throughout the year and no two tests will ever be the same. An answer sheet is also generated for each test.
ALSO INCLUDED: Each of the five arithmetic tests also generate a “Questions Only” sheet. This can be used in the place of the complete test paper for regular use or to save on printing.
