Be the first team to answer all of the number sequence questions correctly. You cannot move onto the next card until you answer the previous one. Sorry but the answer sheet file has been lost, I will try to get one uploaded but they are not that difficult to work out.

Pick a card and solve all the linear equations. Use the values to work out the question that has been encoded, is the answer to the question six, seven or eight?

Be the first to complete all the questions, swap your card when you have finished it. Pythagoras - calculate the length of diagonal fences. Arcs - calculate the length of curved walls. Areas of different shapes. When you have worked out all the areas and lengths calculate the cost of each garden.

Match up the isometric drawing to the net and calculate the surface area. After four examples can you draw the nets from the cuboids left and calculate the surface area for each. Can we speed up the process.

For each of the cards: 1) Work out the answer to the fraction additions. 2) There will be several equivalent fractions and the corresponding letters will spell out a word. 3) What connects each of the words?

Put the instructions into order so as to create five solved equations.

Calculate the missing sides using Pythagoras then use the information to crack the code. pythagoras theorem is used in many real life situations especially in the construction and engineering professions where the accurate construction of a right angle is needed such as in the building of structures or the calculating of non traversable distances.

Calculate the mean of the set of tables and use that information to break the codes, then work out which is the odd one out. Please feel free to split it up so each pupil gets one question that reflects the amount of work they can do in a given time. (Rose is the odd one out as the others have bulbs)

Solve the simultaneous equations, all positive answer, then use that information to break the code on the acrostic sheet. Match up the various tables, graphs and charts into sets, one or two of the cards are missing and will need to be recreated.

Use the diagrams to work out the code for each card. Work out which is the odd one out. They are all in London but 'Paddington' isn't on a Monopoly board Can be used as a class with pupils changing their card when they have finished or as a set of worksheets.

Match up the three inequalities to each graph. There are two card sets, one with all the answers and one with unfinished cards to complete by the student.

I created this number line for my classroom and several people asked for it so I uploaded it here. It is a mixture of popular culture, logos and pictures to represent the numbers from -19 to 20. There is a plan to make it -50 to 50 if there is enough call for it.
