A simile helps the reader create a picture in their mind to bring the writing alive. A simile compares one object or idea to another, to show that they are the same. It is a form of figurative language. This worksheet helps children add similes to a sentence. The beginning of the sentence is given, children then finish it with a appropriate simile.
