I am a languages teacher who has, over the years, created many resources for teaching French and Spanish. Here I am sharing a few of these, in the hope it makes a hard-working teacher's life a little easier at a time when they need something quickly. Often adding more resources, so watch this space!

A Connect4 game based in Powerpoint including animals vocabulary from Mira, Expo, Stimmt! There is an individual slide for each vocab item in all 4 languages as well as a vocab list and Connect 4 game board.
Pupils must name the item using relevant vocabulary in target language in order to place their counter. Aim is to get 4 in a row, either horizontallly, vertically or diagonally. I usually split the group into 2 and have them compete against each other. More able could be asked to put the vocab item into a sentence, or use different tenses, etc.
The Powerpoint must be used in edit mode, or the counters won’t move. The pictures must also be ‘sent to back’ (or counters ‘sent to front’) in order for the counters to show in front of the pictures.
The file could also be shared digitally with pupils and they could play in pairs. Vocab provided on second slide.
