“I have a cluster classroom so this ws great. I put it on Goggle classroom, and let my students use it when they had free time. It was very engaging, and fun.”
“We’ve been using these as warm up questions. They love that it isn’t directly “math” (equations) and I love that they get really into solving these and getting their brains thinking outside of the box! Thank you!”
“I use these for early finishers. They enjoy solving the puzzles. They are practicing but do not feel they are doing extra work.”
“Great Morning discussion or showing it during transition and discuss and they are lining up or when they are getting ready to go home at the end of the day. My students will stop doing what they are doing and they will listen to the question and hate when someone answer without raising their hands.”

Looking for a Collaborative Easter Project???
-Let your students work together to create a wonderful HUGE poster to proudly display in your classroom. 36 pages…enough for the largest of classes.
-Watch your students and colleagues as they admire the fantastic final product.
-Why not use it as a backdrop to take photos of your students to make personalised Easter Cards.?
I recommend printing this on heavy card to make compiling this huge poster a little easier.
-This resource is designed to be a class collaborative project, with each students working on a page of the larger puzzle/poster.
-This resource contains 35 printable pages that can be put together to make a large display poster for your classroom.
-The completed poster measures approximately 14cm wide x 14 cm high or 4’wide x 4’ high
-Use this image as a guide to see where each of these pieces go….this adds to the collaborative challenge of this project.
How to Print
-This resource comes in two versions (the choice is yours). Make sure when you are printing that you select full slide or fit to page to get the maximum image on each of the slides. This has been created using US letter (8.5 x 11 inches) but it will print in A4 size also.
-For best results print on card stock so that the corners of the pages don’t curl and each section is easier to manage.
-I highly recommend that your students use the same medium for the whole poster for consistency. In my opinion, I find crayons or pastels give an even finish whereas markers tend to give more lined effect and is more time consuming to complete
-The letter labels can be done with a different medium to create a nice contrast. Markers work well for this aspect of the group task.
How to Assemble
-My preferred method is to use masking tape, (sticky tape can become very difficult to work with for children) or alternatively have large sheets of butchers paper joined together and paste the puzzle pieces directly onto blank paper.
Some trimming may be required.
What People are saying about this project
“I love these collaborative posters. My students enjoy making them, they help to decorate my classroom, engage them, encourage completion of work, and keeps everyone happy too! Thank you!”
“Adorable and comes out fantastic. Thanks”

Do you struggle to get your students to write creatively in your literacy sessions?
-This resource is designed to encourage reluctant writers to create their own characters using templates and scaffolds to help build vocabulary and utilise the senses and incorporate them into their writing.
-The blank faces give students the opportunity to be creative with their characters and explore emotions, alongside heroes and villains. Encourage them to break with traditional stories and gender
-Sterotyping… make the princess the villain in your story, or create an angry cinderalla…who is not at all happy about being treated the way that she is that she starts to think about revenge.
-Students can have great fun with these activities, and creative with their drawings. This results often in often funny and engaging stories which students love to share with their peers.

These engaging, visual writing prompts with pictures will get even your most reluctant writer writing!
These fun writing prompts are no prep, just print and go.
-These images are scaffolded by using the students senses to add interest to their writing
Sensory details include sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste.
-Writers employ the five senses to engage a reader’s interest. If you want your writing to jump off the page, then bring your reader into the world you are creating.
-When describing a past event, try and remember what you saw, heard, touched, smelled, and tasted, then incorporate that into your writing.
-Sensory details are used in any great story, literary or not. Think about your favourite movie or video game. What types of sounds and images are used?
What do your favorite characters taste, smell, and touch?
-Without sensory details, stories would fail to come to life.
-When sensory details are used, your readers can personally experience whatever you’re trying to describe, reminding them of their own experiences, giving your writing a universal feel. A universal quality is conveyed when the writer can personally connect with the readers.
-Another note about sensory details: there is no one sense that’s more important than another. It all depends on the scene you’re trying to create.
However, imagery, the sight sense, is a common feature in vivid writing.
-These are perfect for Writer’s Workshop, Work on Writing, Writing Centers, Substitute Teachers, and Fast Finishers.
-These quirky picture prompts are a great way to let the kiddos choose what they want to write about, while also helping to spark their imaginations!
-They are perfect for those “I don’t know what to write about!” kiddos.
They are also great for Work on Writing during your Daily 5 time, writing centers, fast finishers, writing homework, or leaving for a substitute teacher!

Are you looking for a resource that will help your students to develop goal setting and growth mindset through reflection and self monitoring?
This resource is designed to be used over the course of a year, so that there is a record of self evaluation taken by students throughout the year. Self reflection and monitoring are skills that we all need for life.
This resource will engage your students throughout the school year, and at the end they have a record of achievements and changes that they have made as they have grown.
Developing a positive mindset amongst your students is such an important and integral part of the hidden curriculum, but basic to all of our daily lives. It is not a skill that comes easily and one that needs to be explicitly taught and fostered to enable your students to build a positive mindset.
This can be added to your students portfolio as a record of achievements and for reflection.
Photocopy extra pages as needed, and I hope that this resource serves you well throughout the year.
Suitable for students in middle to upper primary grades.
This is an instant download pdf file for you to print and use with your students. Teaching suggestions are included.
The best part?
This resource requires NO PREP and is easy to use. You can choose to print these pages for students to use a printable journal or booklet.

Engage your students in practicing factors, multiples, prime, and composite numbers with this fun card game with engaging characters and bright colors
Do your students need support with consolidation and practising their multiplication and factorisation skills? This fun and engaging game is perfect for math centres and as a fast finishing game for your class.
This version features some crazy gremlins and creatures which are appealing to a range of age groups.
SETTING UP THE CARDS
1.Duplicate the background slide, and print your number cards back to back with the striped background. This is the set of factor cards.
2.Create the Target cards, by printing the targets back to back as you did with the number cards.
3.Laminate the cards for durability- You may choose to print off and laminate the playing mats.
HOW TO PLAY
For 2-4 players
1.Shuffle the 7 factor cards (numbers 1-12), and deal 7 cards to each player. Place the rest of the deck face down on the table.
2.Shuffle the target cards and turn over the top card revealing the target number.
3.Let’s say the target card is 36, the player to the left of the dealer will look at the cards in their hand and see if any of them are a factor of 36.
4.If that player has a factor they will place it next to the target card, for instance, if it the player has a 4, they will say 9x4=36, and then the play will go to the next person to the left and continue until a player does not have a card that is a factor of the target number. That person then has to pick up ALL of the cards that have already been played.
5.The next player will turn over the next target card from the top of the pile, and play will continue.
6.The winner is the person who manages to get rid of all of the cards in their hand first.
7.Each player MUST say the multiplication face when playing their card.
An affordable and versatile resource for any classroom.
