A powerpoint with inbuilt videos and guidance to create a composition about machines A silent video is used at the end and children play along side it once they have decided which instruments are appropriate. Children are encouraged to look at the movement of the machines and from that observation, gain clues as to the type of sound, pitch or rhythm could be used. I have edited the original video (URL in PPT) for a child's attention span.. You will need ordinary class percussion instruments and any kind of recorder etc. You do not need to be able to play it.
