Straightforward safety lesson which would be great for a lower ability class. Quick discussion on safety scenarios they can then go around the room collecting information about the different hazard symbols (print off and put stick around the room). At the end of the ppt there is a more advanced version (longer sentences) that could be used fore a more able group. Lab safety if from an old spotlight science book - you could swap with whatever scheme you use.

A lovely little lesson for introducing concentration in g/dm3. The accompanying worksheet gets more challenging as they move through the questions. Calculators will be needed!
