PRETERIT IMPERFECT ORIGINAL SENTENCE COMPLETIONS (No on-line translators)
Compose 20 original sentences using the preterit and imperfect tenses based on the clue words (ayer, anoche etc). There should be a total of 6 words minimum after the subject (yo, José etc). Circle the conjugated verb in every sentence and post the word count at the end of every sentence. Sentences must make sense to receive credit.

A short quiz on basic vocabulary related to health. Part one requires the Spanish translation of the vocabulary word and part two has personal questions.
There 12 vocab words translations and 8 personal questions.
For this activity, students will be given 5 regular -ar, -er, and -ir verbs with different subjects and words and they will have to combine the elements from column a, b, c and add additional words to create an 8 word sentence for all the 15 verbs given. This is a good activity for Spanish 1 students.
Create 10 original information questions and answer them with the given infinitives in the appropriate tense: Present, preterit, imperfect, ir + a + infinitive, tener + que + infinitive, present subjunctive, present perfect, future, conditional, present perfect subjunctive.
Every sentence must have a different subject (tú, ell, names of people). Questions should be 7 words minimum. Post the word count at the end of every question. Your answers must be in complete sentences but do not need a specific number of words.

This is a one page worksheet with 14 sentence completions with the verbs of doubt using the present subjunctive. Students must complete each sentence using a different subject and a different subjunctive verb. Sentences must be 8 words minimum. Answer key is NOT included.
Ex: Yo dudo que tu sepas frances y japones. (tu is the change of the subject and sepas is the subjunctive verb)
A worksheet to practice conjugations and sentence writing in the imperfect tense
Infinitives used:

For each infinitive, students will conjugate it for all 6 persons. Then, they will write an original 8 word sentence. A clue word (cada dia etc) is given at the beginning of every sentence.

An easy to follow graphic organizer on the preterite tense in Spanish where students can easily take notes. All verb types are included: Regular, spelling change, irregular, and -ir stem change. An oral practice to review the following tenses: Present, ir + a + infinitive, preterite, imperfect, future, present perfect, and present subjunctive. The activity has 42 personal questions, 7 questions per verb (hablar, empezar, jugar, buscar, tener, and pedir). Students can do the oral practice in pairs. As a follow up, students can complete the practice as a homework assignment or it can also be a part of teacher's sub plans.
Students will form and answer their own individual questions in the present, preterit, and imperfect tenses. An example is provided in each of the tenses. This activity is a good review before a test or exam.

Reflexive verbs personal questions quick speaking practice
For each infinitive, write the reflexive pronoun and verb conjugation for Yo. Then, interview a classmate using the questions below. Each question should be answered in a complete sentence. (10 questions total)

Reflexive verbs guided sentence practice
For each reflexive verb, write a sentence in the template provided. Choose a different subject (person) for each sentence, write the appropriate reflexive pronoun and conjugation, and add 3-4 words to expand on the sentence using vocabulary related to body parts, personal products, and accessories. Sentences should not be repetitive (using the same words over and over) and should not simply be filled with clock times.
