Present subjunctive sentence practice with regular -ar, -er, -er verbs
For each sentence, choose the correct introductory verb from column A and the correct present subjunctive verb from column B.
There are 12 sentences total with 4 -ar, 4- er, and 4 -ir verbs
This practice can be done as students are being introduced to the present subjunctive and can be used as classwork, homework, quiz, bell ringer, or exit pass.
Answer key is included.

Students will choose 3 of their favorite classes and write 3 short paragraphs (5 sentences each) in the template provided using the guidelines.
A list of classes, adjectives, and activities (what students do in each class; for example: tomar apuntes, leer una novela etc) is provided.

Present subjunctive: Recommendations for situations
Carmen is very well liked by her friends and neighbors. They often ask her for advice about their issues. For each situation, provide 2 recommendations using a different introductory verb (present tense) and a different present subjunctive verb. Write your recommendations in the template provided. Use the list below for introductory verbs and conjugate them in the yo form.
There are 5 situations total and students will write 10 recommendations. A list of 10 introductory verbs (querer, preferir etc) is provided.
This practice can be used as students are being introduced to the present subjunctive. Students can also work in pairs and do this practice orally.
Present subjunctive missing sentence practice
Complete each sentence by adding an introductory verb (present tense) or a present subjunctive verb from the list below. Then, add 3-4 words to expand on the sentence.
There are 10 sentences total. Students will add 5 introductory verbs and 5 present subjunctive verbs. A short list of introductory verbs (unconjugated) and subjunctive verbs (unconjugated) is provided. For the subjunctive verbs, only regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs are used.
This practice can be used as students are being introduced to the present subjunctive as classwork, homework, or entry and exit pass.

This is a practice on writing original sentences in the present subjunctive using regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs.
Section 1: Conjugate the verbs in column A in the present tense and the verbs in column B in the present subjunctive. (10 total)
Section 2: Using the introductory and subjunctive verbs conjugated in section 1, write 10 original sentences in the present subjunctive in the template provided. After the subjunctive verb add 3-4 words to expand on the sentence. Your sentences must make sense. Every sentence must have two different subjects and two different verbs. For example, in sentence 1, subject and verb 1 will be yo / querer (present tense) and subject and verb 2 will be hablar (present subjunctive)

Students will create short original sentences with gustar verbs in the template provided using the guidelines provided.

Create original sentences in the present subjunctive with the following guidelines:
Create two subjects (persons) for every sentence. For subjects, you can use subject pronouns (yo, tú and names of people). Vary your subjects.
In the last column, add 3-4 words to create an original and logical sentence in the present subjunctive.
Template includes conjugated introductory and present subjunctive verbs and students will create original subjects to match them.
Students will write a total of 10 sentences in the template provided. This practice can be used as students are being introduced to the subjunctive.
Imperfect tense sentence practice (no collaboration / no on-line translators)
Length: 1 page
Create original sentences in the imperfect tense using the guidelines provided:
For each verb conjugation come up with a different subject (person). For subjects, you can use subject pronouns (yo, tú etc and names of persons). Do NOT repeat any subject.
Add 4-5 words to expand on the sentence.
Your sentence must make sense. Sentences should not be repetitive (using the same words over and over).
Students will create 12 original sentences

This is a practice on irregular verbs in the preterit. The practice is divided by sections: I, U, and J stem verbs.
Length: 4 pages
For each section students will attach the appropriate endings to the stems for all 6 persons for every verb and answer one personal question per verb. A list of the endings are provided on the top of every page.
