I wanted some nice graphics concerning the benzene topic for my own use, so I made some vector artwork and thought they might be of some use to somebody. These are all pdf files, but if you want editable svg or eps files, contact me.

Key concepts in chemistry interactive quiz.

I made a crazy interactive widget thingy to test key concepts in chemistry, with 50 multiple choice questions. Just click on the correct answer. Instant feedback is given and the widget keeps a tally of the score. Just for fun really. Please note: in order to provide a rich interactive experience, my interactive resources are mini-web sites local to your computer. After unzipping, they comprise a folder containing the main key concepts in chemistry interactive quiz.html file and another folder containing the graphic resources and my coding to make the resource work. Double click on the .html file and the resource will work in your web browser. If, however , you move or delete any of the files from this hierarchy, the resource will not work. Also: The test is aimed at year 11 students, or perhaps early year 12. I added a couple of questions to which they may not know the answers. This could be used as a check to see if they are googling the answers, or perhaps you might allow them to google the answers as an exercise in self-study. I added some rotating structures- just drag to rotate, and little bits of whimsy, because that is how I am.

I used AQA’s list of measurement terms (which is included) to make a wordsearch, bingo game, and match the definition sheet. NB: I have now added the definitions as a presentation, in both powerpoint and keynote formats. I made it in keynote and exported to powerpoint, so the keynote version is better.
