Important Maths Fact Sheets

This is a double sided A3 resource sheet, which I have found really useful for all children to know off by heart. The sheet is listed by topic and gives examples as needed. If children are able to quote everything off the sheet, then they should know all the basics for them to solve most maths questions posed to them by the end of Key Stage 2, though as some of the information at the bottom is Key Stage 1 based, it makes a good resource to show all children across the whole of primary school the facts they are going to need to learn. Some of the facts such as the fractions to decimals and percentages or the square numbers, prime numbers or names of 2D shapes can really start helping the child get a grip of the basics of maths.

Print out the 12 cards, which are all unique, and give out to the learners. With larger classes you will need to print out more than one copy of each card. Call out the fractions from one of the lists, one at a time. Learners cross off any fraction called out, however there may be more than one version on the card, so they may need to cross of one, two, three or four squares. Once all numbers are crossed off, then call out Bingo.
