Y6 Leavers Assembly - This Is Your Life

This Y6 Leavers Assembly is based upon the show 'This is Your Life' - using the duo Ant and Dec as presenters. Their lines are written in Geordie. The script follows 2 children dressed as the Head and Deputy, meeting the class from that year. This resource includes the full script and the matching PowerPoint - you will just need to add each child's recording.

Y6 Leavers Assembly - Judge Judy

(0)
This is a Y6 leavers assembly, where the whole class can participate. Those without key leads, can be the jury. It uses humour to play on the areas the children in class were well known for e.g. spelling, attitude etc.. and then plays out a courtroom to decide if they are guilty. Using boys as girls, and strong American voices enhances the comedy.

Year 6 Daily Arithmetic Questions

I used these ‘6 a day’ questions at the start of every Maths lesson - there are 75 days worth, and the question become progressively harder. They cover everything which will appear in the Arithmetic KS2 test. It covers the four calculations, percentages and fractions (alongside BODMAS and squares, cubed numbers). My children in Y6 love working through these 6 a day, and after doing it for 2 years, I know it has great impact on their understanding, and also the SATs results!
