Quizzes 11 and 12 to add to your Collection. Quiz 11 is the second Grime Slang Quiz, whilst the gangs and Guns Quiz has been added as a bonus. All of the Quizzes are written for a student who does not engage with mainstream school and has daily tutoring, however he writes grime music and has an interest in the history of guns and warfare. Both can be included in PSHE sessions that are focused on crime or Grime.

The procedures identified on this flow chart were the ones I put in place in my school to track student absence. The effective monitoring of such protocols will depend on the effectiveness of your tutor team, alongside good communication with the Attendance Manager. Such tracking is vital due to increased levels of absence because of Covid 19 and the increased vulnerability of young people, especially those in Special Education.

A Learning Diary that enables any student or teacher the ability to monitor and track evidence of student work; this Learning Diary proved to be a very useful document in my School, to help record the successes of a student who could not engage fully in a mainstream curriculum. However, the student was an excellent citizen around the school, who developed his abilities through engagement of non-academic work which we needed to record. The Diary/Log can also be used in formal lesson for students to record evidence of their work - the format of the template allows for this flexibility.

Student attendance continues to come under scrutiny since the Covid Pandemic. The Tracking and Monitoring attendance package contains the appropriate monitoring tools and associated resources/letters/templates to effectively track student attendance in any school. Alongside the resources are appropriate letters that align to different stages of the tracking and an overall monitoring chart to be used by the attendance officer, to track referrals and cases which require additional follow up. In addition I have added monthly Red/Amber/Green Letters which are an additional monthly resource to inform parents of their students attendance and how it aligns to school expectations. I have also added a template that helps staff to identify historical attendance and exemplar narrative to help you use the appropriate language used by monitoring agencies. I have used this bundle of tools to track attendance in all of my roles in the past 6 years and it has proved very effective and easy to use. Updated to include…the individual student Action Plan and a tracking document aimed at evidencing actions taken to support improvement in attendance across the school - for the complete package for improving attendance see the resource called Strategic Improvement of School Attendance.

A module of work that can be easily slotted in to any PSHE or Careers Programme for KS3 or KS4. The module focuses on student aspirations and their hopes for the future; it’s lesson by lesson format helps students to identify their own skills and those which employers may look for. It links in to job adverts and helps students obtain a better understanding of adverts when looking for potential jobs/careers. A bullying contract that can be used with students who are frequent bullies An exemplar letter that can be sent to parents to help with paper trail regarding any bullying incident The bullying levels are used to help discourage bullying in school alongside appropriate consequences for those who do bully. For students who are frequent bullies, there is a bullying contract that can be used to further discourage this kind of behaviour and this could be used in conjunction with a parental meeting. Alongside this is an exemplar of a bullying letter that can be sent to parents.

Using this resource will prove an excellent way to reinforce Behaviour Management expectations for staff. It aligned to our 'Behaviour Slip System of blue and red slips for poor behaviour and reminded staff of when follow up was required, or indeed if they needed to deal with the named ‘behaviour incident’. It stopped staff writing lots of behaviour sips and always passing on issues to pastoral staff or sending students out; it helps to make staff more accountable for what goes on in their classrooms. It can be adapted to suit your own BM protocols. There are two models added, with the coloured version an update on the first. It really does work with teachers, as well as proving a useful resource for staff training.

The 5-6 week Problem Solving Module can be added to any Life Skills or PSHE programme and is ready to go, with a lesson by lesson format that identifies all of the teaching activities to be undertaken and the resources required. The aims for the Module are as follows: Students will be able to identify a problem within different situations and consider different ways of being able to solve the problem. Students may be able to Coach others into encouraging different ways of solving problems some students may have. Students will be asked to discuss some problems that may arise in the workplace or during a part time job and then come up with possible solution Students will have a knowledge of Benefits and Burdens Analysis The format is the same as all other modules I have added to my dashboard, that allows non-specialists to be able to pick up the work and deliver it without planning. The modules I have added, including this one, are ideal as cover work and for use by cover supervisors.

This resource includes both the teacher reflection sheet and observers recording sheet that can be used by staff involved in the Coaching Programme.
