French ER Verb Infinitives 4 x 4 Matching Squares Puzzle - Students assemble a 4 x 4 French/English vocabulary puzzle with 25 different infinitives. Sample verbs are: aimer, chanter, commencer, donner, fermer, manger, penser, regarder, travailler, and voler. Several words are repeated which makes the puzzle more challenging. Just photocopy enough for a class set (1 for every 2 students if working in pairs, or 1 per student if working alone), cut and fasten with a paper clip. This PowerPoint Jeopardy game contains 25 different regular and irregular verbs for students to conjugate in the present tense. The 5 categories are the subject pronouns yo, tú, él/ella/Ud., nosotros, and ellos/ellas/Uds. Students click a number under one of the categories and an infinitive will appear. The next click displays the correct conjugation, the point value, and a house that can be clicked to return to the game board. The previously clicked questions are highlighted to show students that they have already been used. There are 2 randomly placed "Sorpresa" slides that double the points of the next conjugation, if answered correctly. This is a no prep activity that can be modified to suit your purposes in your classroom.
