Spanish Greetings Song With Feelings, Origin and Age - Get your students up and moving! This simple song is sung to the tune of a familiar children's song. It has 4 verses and each has 4 lines. Students will practice greetings, feelings, stating and asking age and name and will learn 4 different ways to say farewell. This song is fun for students of all ages, from the very young all the way to high school. Students stand, face a partner and do the actions for each line of the song. Included:

Students sketch and color a minimum of 10 clothing items and accessories that they will take with them on a trip to Spain. They then write the corresponding Spanish words under the sketched items. Students enjoy practicing their speaking skills as they proudly present their creations to their classmates.

Spanish Reflexives Paragraph Translations - English/Spanish and Spanish/English - Students practice a variety of verbs as they translate a paragraph about 2 girls getting ready and going to school in the morning. First and third person singular verbs in the preterit are used. Sample verbs are: despertarse, levantarse, bañarse, lavarse, secarse, maquillarse, afeitarse, and irse. First, have students translate from Spanish to English, then have them translate from English to Spanish after they have better understanding and have had sufficient practice with reflexive verbs and associated vocabulary. Spanish Numbers and Counting Song - Sonrisas y Risas - Students practice counting from 1 to 20 with smiles and laughs with this 2 verse song sung to the tune of a popular children's song. One verse includes the word sonrisas four times, and the other verse includes the word risas four times, and there's a happy surprise at the end! Included in the download: 1. Students practice 50 Spanish summer vocabulary words as they assemble 4 x 4 Spanish/English vocabulary puzzles. Each contains 25 different words.

The summer vocabulary includes nouns, verbs and adjectives. Sample words are acampar, barbacoa, feria, gafas del sol, lluvia, olas, pescar, playa, traje de baño, vacaciones, and viajar.
Several words are repeated which makes the puzzles more challenging. Just photocopy enough for class sets (1 for every 2 students if working in pairs, or 1 per student if working alone), cut and fasten with a paper clip. Distribute to students and challenge them to reassemble the puzzles as quickly as possible. There is a list of all words alongside the puzzles in Spanish and English. These can be used as vocabulary bookmarks and references.
The puzzles are great for the end of the school year, for summer school activities, and for back to school review. They're also helpful for sub lessons. After students assemble the puzzles, they can use the vocabulary lists to quiz each other on the vocabulary.

Spanish Class Commands Bilingual Word Wall - 44 Words and Phrases - This download includes (22) 8 1/2 x 11 printable signs containing 44 words or phrases used in the Spanish or bilingual classroom. Each sign has the Spanish in black, the English in red, and 2 red stars to enhance the appearance of the sign. There are 2 commands in large font on each sign. Most of the commands are in the Uds. form, but some are in the tu form if the commands are more commonly used to speak to one student. Just print, laminate if desired, and hang where students can easily see the word wall. The signs look great when several are grouped together vertically and backed with black construction paper. The word wall is a great student reference and can also be used to present and review the vocabulary. This word wall can also be purchased bundled together with 6 other Spanish word walls.
This is a 13 line, 3 person conversation with greetings, introductions and leave takings that must be put in order for it to make sense.
The ordering activity can can be completed by students in 2 ways:
1. Simply write the numbers on each rectangle
2. Students can first cut the rectangles and manually put them in order, either on a hard surface, or the pieces can be glued to paper.
Other uses for the activity:
1. After completing the ordering task, students can practice and present the conversation as a 3-person dialogue.
2. The dialogue can be used as a written translation activity. After completing the ordering task, students can practice and present the conversation as a 3 person dialogue.

This file contains 5 pages of conjugation forms with definitions of infinitive, conjugation, verb ending, and verb stem, plus 1 page of suggestions for using the forms. Also included on the 2 initial forms is a concise 3 step explanation of how to conjugate present tense verbs. The forms can be used in 3 stages: initial presentation, follow-up review and practice, routine note taking throughout the year when new verbs are presented. The forms are great for back to school review for upper levels, they can be used for conjugation quizzes, and also for conjugation homework assignments.

French Christmas Flashcards and PowerPoint Presentation 66 Slides - This presentation contains 32 different words associated with Christmas and the holiday season. Examples are: reveillon de Noel, Saint-Sylvestre, veille de Noel, gui, chants de Noel, jouets, Trois Rois, bonhomme de neige, traineau, and creche. The first half of the presentation contains images that come out first followed by the French word on mouse click. This is a colorful presentation for presenting and reviewing holiday vocabulary.

There are also suggested activities that will be great to use as substitute lessons. Students research several areas associated with holidays and festivals celebrated in Spanish speaking countries. The areas are date/s, food, events, music and dance, location, religious celebrations, countries that celebrate the holiday, and history of the holiday.
Included:
1. 15 different templates, each with a different holiday and the categories listed previously. This is a fun investigative activity for students that can be completed in Spanish or English.
2. One template without the name of a holiday or festival to give you the option of adding more of either.
3. Page that includes several suggestions for using the materials such as a Foreign Language Week activity, Spanish Club activity, or just a homework assignment, to name a few. This has been used very successfully as a substitute teacher lesson in the computer lab. It's a great research activity for use with iPads or other tablets. Students practice AR verb meanings and conjugations in a fun, interactive way with these games! These are 32 square board games containing 15 different common Spanish AR verbs. One board contains Spanish infinitives that students must translate to English, and the other contains Spanish infinitives that students must conjugate based on the subject pronouns provided. Students play in groups of 3 which include 2 players, and 1 moderator with the answer key. Students shake the die, move that number of spaces, say the answer, and see who reaches the end first.

saber, conocer, poner, decir, traer, caer, tener, venir, hacer, salir and oir.
Each has a sign with the Spanish and English meaning, a full conjugation in the present tense and a simple sentence illustrating its use.
Saber and conocer each also have 2 additional signs with sample sentences and there is one sign that has both verbs in Spanish with "to know". There's also a sign with a rhyme to help students remember the different uses of saber and conocer.
There are 6 signs for gustar. Examples are: one with a full conjugation with gusta and a sample sentence, one with a full conjugation with gustan and a sample sentence and one that includes gusta and gustan and clip art illustrating the differences.

Surround your students with Spanish language with this 167 word classroom label set! The labels are on plain, white backgrounds to allow you to print them on colored paper, rather than using expensive color printing. There are labels for most anything in your classroom from school supplies like lápices, cuadernos, plumas, tijeras, and carpetas, to standard items in and parts of the classroom like reloj, pared, puerta, ventana, planta, borrador, computadora, cartel, diccionario, pegamento, and engrapadora.
