Our shop is really "two shops in one". John teaches high school anatomy and physiology, so his products are curriculum-based lessons, units, and bundles that help teach these subjects in an engaging way. Carol is an elementary school teacher, having taught grades from kindergarten to sixth grade. She makes lessons, units, and bundles that teach all elementary school subjects, and is now focusing on Google based lessons using technology in the classroom.

We have developed this INTERACTIVE DIGITAL template to engage students either in the classroom or at home using a 1:1 device environment. This original product is provided through web-based Google file sharing, contained on the Internet 'cloud' and allows you and your students to access, edit, and print files from any computer or device. Students work on their template directly in the file on their device or computer. This product will also work with Microsoft OneDrive (instructions included!) This Sheep Brain Observation Lab can be used as part of a Nervous System Unit in Anatomy, Biology or Life Science classes. This lab requires a sheep brain in order to give students a true hands on experience. Students will cover the following in this lab: • parts of the brain, • interesting features of the brain • it includes a writing prompt • covers several brain diseases This lab is very flexible as it will work for any level student from English Learner - EL - to more advanced students. This product includes a materials list, a complete lab, and grading guidelines. This lab usually lasts from lasts from 2-3 days depending on your level of student. For any teacher looking for “hands on” enrichment activities that will fully engage the student, this product is for you. Butterfly Unit ~ Close Reading ~ Text Dependent Questions : We have developed this Common Core aligned complete Butterfly Unit with CLOSE Reading passages, text dependent questions, and essential questions that contains everything needed to teach a rigorous unit on butterflies. Four original CLOSE Reading nonfiction passages were created to help teach your students about butterflies. CLOSE reading instructions and anchor charts are included to help you incorporate this skill into your teaching. There are text dependent questions aligned with each passage, a set of vocabulary cards with definitions to accompany each nonfiction text, a research report, Common Core Essential Questions, performance tasks, and RAFTS. A variety of other graphic organizers and activities are included. This unit emphasizes "Depth of Knowledge" (D.O.K.) throughout. You can use this unit in its entirety, or “pick and choose” the components to meet the needs of your students. This product contains 3 power point presentations that are part of my Blood Unit for a high school Anatomy/Physiology or Biology class. The first presentation is a 14 slide ppt that covers red blood cells, formed elements, red blood cell production, hemoglobin and white blood cells (granulocytes and agranulocytes). The second presentation is a 14 slide ppt covering platelets, non living parts of blood, and the physiology of blood. It also includes a review of my Blood Unit ppt part 1. The third presentation is a 12 slide ppt covering blood types and blood disorders, and includes a review of the first two of my Blood Unit presentations. Great for any level student from English Learner - EL - to more advanced students. This product includes an opportunity for students to take Cornell style notes and has a built in review. Teaching a unit on Westward Expansion? The growth and expansion of the west is a major topic of study in United States history, and we’ve made it easier! We have developed this comprehensive research report for your students to organize, create, develop, write, edit, illustrate, present, and assess their Westward Expansion report. This template can be used to complete their formal report or it can be utilized as a study guide to develop their report for them to complete on a computer or device. We encourage you to have your students use a wide variety of resources to gather the necessary information to complete this report. This packet is designed for you to pick and choose the parts of the report that you’d like to use, or just use it all! This packet contains the following: • Two cover pages- one in color and one in grayscale • 32 Vocabulary Words related to the Westward Expansion. Templates are provided to define the word and illustrate the word. (a blank template is also provided for you to add any additional vocabulary words that you would like to add to provided scaffolding for students who need it). • A Westward Expansion “Timeline” Chart- Students will develop a chart to write about the key events of Westward Expansion.
