An Age of Exploration “Timeline” Chart- Students will develop a chart to write about the key events in the Age of Exploration. Students will list the date(s), the explorer, the explorer’s event or travels, and a short description. Students will use as many pages as needed. 4. 18 Text dependent questions with a full page for response 5. Critical Thinking Activities and Questions 6. Graphic Organizer to organize information for biographies on key people associated with the Age of Exploration 7. A one page “biography” for the 23 key people related to the Age of Exploration. The first presentation is a 14 slide ppt that covers red blood cells, formed elements, red blood cell production, hemoglobin and white blood cells (granulocytes and agranulocytes). The second presentation is a 14 slide ppt covering platelets, non living parts of blood, and the physiology of blood. It also includes a review of my Blood Unit ppt part 1. The third presentation is a 12 slide ppt covering blood types and blood disorders, and includes a review of the first two of my Blood Unit presentations. Great for any level student from English Learner - EL - to more advanced students. This product includes an opportunity for students to take Cornell style notes and has a built in review. We have developed this comprehensive research report for your students to organize, create, develop, write, edit, illustrate, present, and assess their Revolutionary War report. We have developed this Common Core aligned complete Earthquake Unit with CLOSE Reading passages, research report, text dependent questions, and essential questions that contains everything needed to teach a rigorous unit on earthquakes. Original CLOSE Reading nonfiction passages were created to help teach your students about earthquakes. CLOSE reading instructions and an anchor chart are included to help you incorporate this skill into your teaching. We have developed this comprehensive human body unit to contain everything needed to teach a rigorous unit on the human body. It is Common Core aligned and created to facilitate “Depth of Knowledge” (DOK) for your students. Seven original CLOSE Reading nonfiction passage were created for CLOSE reading to teach your students about the human body systems ( not familiar with CLOSE reading? It’s okay, we have instructions and anchor charts to help you incorporate it into your teaching). There are text dependent questions aligned with each passage, a set of vocabulary cards with definitions to accompany each nonfiction text, our best-selling research reports on the circulatory, digestive, and respiratory systems. A variety of other graphic organizers and activities are included. We do encourage you to supplement with any other books, videos, and websites that you already use; they will blend nicely with our CLOSE reading passages. This 5-7 day unit is a great beginning to any Anatomy/Physiology class and can also be used in Biology. Great for any level student from English Learner - EL - to more advanced students. Terms covered include anterior, posterior, proximal, distal, etc., as well as body cavities and body systems. This product includes 3 power point presentations with opportunities for students to take Cornell style notes, a terminology - body plan lab/assignment, unit review, unit test, all answer keys and a blank test answer sheet.
