Level 3-5 (Year 3-6) Beginning algebra

Seven sets of ten progressively harder 'missing number' calculations. Headed with a learning intention that clearly shows the level and statement of that level. From 3b 'I can use my knowledge of number bonds to 100 to help me find a missing number.' to 5b 'I can work through two steps to find a missing number.'

The Christmas Story Updated for today

I have written out the Christmas story (with a little poetic license) to make it more accessible for children in KS1 and LKS2. 4 A4 pages with a PSHE slant of the 'characters' being ordinary people. "Joseph was an ordinary man. A normal, down-to-earth, regular kind of guy. He was Jewish, part of God’s chosen people and, like all of his family and friends, he took God VERY seriously. That’s just the way things were .... ... ... When Joseph found out that Mary was going to have a baby, he was really concerned. He was worried that everyone would say nasty things about Mary, and about him. He knew that some people would be rude to them and he wasn’t sure if he wanted to hang around for that. That night, Joseph had the clearest dream he had ever had. "

Little circles labelled 'independent', 'group work', 'paired work', 'teacher' and 'teaching assistant'. To laminate, cut out and stick on the list of groups so that children know what level of support they have for each session.

Just because 'Word' is a pain to use and get the right size and the right borders - here are a bunch of pages of random drawer lables including about 30 for names, 'whiteboards' 'literacy resources' and other assorted classroom classics! Just type over what you want.

A spread sheet with four tabs - the first 100 HFWs, the next 200 HFWs, new statutory spelling list for years 3&4 and new statutory spelling list for years 5&6. Formatted to have 30 names sideways across the top so you can tick off the spellings given/learned/used etc. Only made it for my own use really but figured I may as well share - save someone 10 minutes!
