An ICT version of History Fakebook. Pupils download a copy of the fakebook template (in word) and follow the instructions in each text box (e.g. paste a picture of the historical individual, background picture associated with the individual, write four key status' etc.) A useful way to ensure good presentation of historical facts. Useful homework task. I've also attached an example of George Clemenceau's fakebook for a visual idea of what the finished artice could look like. Enjoy.

A Word adaptable Cootie Catcher. A fun resource to help pupils think of 8 key questions and answers to a specific topic. This Word template requires pupils to type their questions and answers following the prompts. I've also attached an exemplar on the Gunpowder Plot. Enjoy!

A chronological awareness task on the causes and consequences of Tudor Royal Marriages: 1. Card sorting activity on the wives of HVIII: cards include marriages, children, fate of marriages and other consequences. 2. Photostory on Tudor Royal Marriages: who did the Tudor monarchs marry (or not), and why? What were the consequences of these marriages (or non-marriages?)

A simple task to enable pupils to work out the factors that contributed to Britain's Industrial Revolution. Lesson 1 - Categorisation task to identify the factors and specific examples that made the IR possible. Exit ticket task to assess understanding is to ask pupils to consider words/phrases/examples within the word REVOLUTION. Lesson 2 - Literacy/extended writing task. Resources refer to Italian performance in WWII, the actions of the Fascist Grand Council in 1943, and the ultimate actions of the King. There's also reference to the Salo Republic, and Mussolini's murder at the hands of Communist Partisans in April 1945. Revision activities and possible exam questions included.

An activity to help develop the concept of significant turningpoints using the Before (the battle) , During (the battle), and After (the battle) method. Pupils create a living graph of the course of the war from Napoleon's perspective to get a visual representation of the outcome of the selected battles.

A follow up to my resource looking at the causes of the Glyndwr rebellion. This resource looks at the famous Glyndwr victory over Edmund Mortimer at the Battle of Bryn Glas (Pilleth) on June 22nd, 1402. The resources encourage pupils to categorise factors, and then use their knowledge to do some extended writing (PEEL task) on the key question. The PEEL sheet will aid pupils to attain L5, whilst follow up tasks can help them to access L6+. There is also an extended numeracy task for higher ability pupils. Enjoy. A resource using strands of the LNF to develop persuasive writing in History. Pupils look at the different SPEAR reasons for volunteering in the summer of 1914, and use their knowledge to write a speech for David Lloyd George to encourage the audience at the National Eisteddfod in Bangor (1915) to join up.
