Bideford College

Bideford College is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Bideford, Devon. In March 2016, the school opened as a new academy sponsored by Launceston College Multi Academy Trust. Children can attend off-site education at North Devon Personalised Learning Service and through the Medical Tuition Service.

A larger than average secondary school, Bideford College provides 1,744 places for students between the ages of 11 and 18 when fully subscribed.

The school offers a curriculum that is broad and balanced before and after the age of 16, acting as a strong foundation for learning that is relevant to the demands of the modern world.

Bideford College's extra-curricular activities are also wide-ranging to enhance students’ educational experiences. Children are given opportunities to develop their own interests and strengths. Sporting activities lead to the chance to compete at regional and national level.
