Bishop Heber High School is a mixed, non-denominational comprehensive school with a sixth form, there are 1280 students on roll aged 11-18. It is situated in the picturesque village of Malpas. The school has an enviable reputation for excellence both within its catchment area and far beyond. The school was founded in 1960.

The vision of Bishop Heber High School is to cultivate an environment in which respect, opportunity and achievement can flourish. By treating each other with respect, students create a happy and safe place to learn.
The Heber, as the school is sometimes called, aims to produce global citizens, providing a stimulating, well-ordered and positive environment for pupils that the school hopes will encourage them to view learning as a lifelong activity. The school motto is “prêt d'accomplir”, meaning “ready to accomplish".
Location
Malpas is a large village placed deep in the south Cheshire countryside. There are several pubs in the village as well as good quality local shopping. Malpas also hosts a regular Farmers’ Market. If you are looking to explore, Malpas is a great base for sightseeing with Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales just a stone’s throw away. Practically on your doorstep is the famous city of Chester, you can reach the city in 30 minutes and explore all the historic sites.
