About Caister Academy
Caister Academy is an 11-16 co-educational day school, specialising in Literature and the performing arts. We offer a rigorous, traditional curriculum; supplemented by a broad choice from the arts, technology, and sport; all personalised to the strengths of individual students.
With sea views, Caister Academy is just 20 miles east of the vibrant city of Norwich. Our people are our greatest asset and Caister Academy currently employs over 80 staff and is major employer within the community. You will be joining a well-established team of practitioners, all with the same vision of making a difference, shaping our school/education system, teaching, and developing children, and creating a school where no one is disadvantaged. Caister Academy joined Creative Education Trust (CET) in March 2015 which itself was established in 2010 to work in England’s post-industrial and coastal towns and cities. They now have a network of 17 schools educating 13,500 children and young people. Working for CET offers an abundance of opportunities through a wide range of co-curricular activities and Knowledge Connected programme.
With a robust CPD package which operates at many levels and ensure that it captures the needs of all roles and career stages, continually adapting to an ever-changing professional landscape.
