Capital School Bahrain

The Capital School Bahrain is based on a classic British School set-up that offers a classroom structure with key stages of development. We teach the British National Curriculum including Early Years' Foundation Stage, whilst adhering to the requirements of the Bahrain Ministry of Education for Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies. We create a positive & nurturing atmosphere to provide an excellent educational experience for our pupils.

Our teaching and learning approaches reflect only the very best of British educational practice and are contained within a modern learning environment which is both stimulating and purposeful. We aim to reinforce family values and norms at all times which in turn creates an atmosphere of warmth and care, because we believe that a happy child learns more effectively. Our notion of team spirit and co-operation is reinforced through our school house system of Buckingham, Windsor, Kensington and Westminster.

We moved to a brand-new school on a new site from summer 2022, so have organised the school into pre-primary, primary and secondary schools in separate buildings to accommodate all our pupils in the most effective learning environments. We currently take pupils from age 1 to year 10, expanding to year 11 from September 2024 and then with plans to add the sixth form the following year.  For the right applicants, there will be opportunities to rapidly progress into middle and senior leadership roles, some of which may be immediate.

We are a BSO (British School Overseas) and BSME school meaning that we are able take newly qualified and early career teachers from the UK, and to support them through their teaching experience.
