CEM is a multilingual private school that is located in Las Rozas and is for children aged between 0 and 18. We strive daily to develop the skills of each of our students and instil universal values in them that not only help to boost their academic results, but also aid in their development as people who are ready to prosper in a globalised world. “There are 7.55 billion people in the world, but for CEM every child is unique”.

CEM has developed an educational project that helps students to achieve their full potential not only academically but also as individuals and members of an ever changing community.

The School’s 5 key pillars, upon which its philosophy turns around, are: Communication, Technology and Innovation, Languages, Entrepreneurship and Sports, all of them backed up by the most important values: respect, honesty, solidarity and tolerance.

In this School each student is treated as an individual so that their own talent can be empowered. One of the School’s aims is that every student that leaves the school should know what he or she is good at. To achieve this, many activities and opportunities are offered, in which the pupils can be involved in different ways. Cooperative learning in all subjects, problem and project-based learning, debating or philosophy are some of the methodologies that are used for the kids to find what they are good at and for the teachers to help the children to develop their own talent.

Another aim within the School’s programme is to show students how to deal with their own learning process and interpersonal relationships in order to make them be aware of how to express their point of view, always respecting others.

Since society is becoming increasingly global, languages and cultures are daily worked throughout presentations and grammar classes, focused on speaking. Furthermore, all year round the School carries out exchange programmes with schools in Germany, France and The United Kingdom and, from  the 1st year of Primary school, the students may choose Chinese, French or German as a third foreign language.

Other activities offered to round our students’ development are Chess, Music, Judo, Fencing, Dancing, Robotics and Drama.

We also offer an integration programme for foreign students , where they can take extra Spanish lessons in case they need to.

The school has a highly motivated and qualified teaching team and its facilities include modern laboratories, computer rooms, libraries, sports, arts facilities, radio and music rooms.
