The School is organised as follows:
- Early Years -Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception

The School combines elements of educational philosophy, practice and traditions from Harrow School in London within an international context. As with the other Harrow Schools, Shanghai’s vision, 'Educational Excellence for Life and Leadership', is realised by means of a characteristically Harrow approach to schooling which demands of students and teachers high academic attainment, involvement in a rich array of extra-curricular activities, and engagement in high quality pastoral support structures, particularly the House system. Students are assigned into Houses where their which their academic and all-round well-being is monitored, nurtured and supported.
