  • set clear, ambitious goals, and rigorously monitor our progress in achieving them
  • offer a curriculum emphasising core academic subjects, while providing the facilities and specialist staff to meet and stimulate a wider range of interests
  • employ an approach to teaching that instils knowledge, understanding, and a desire to learn
  • ensure that all students, teachers, staff and parents commit fully to making Isaac Newton Academy a vibrant learning community.

Why work for us?

Great schools are made of great staff – that is why we strive to recognise hard work and celebrate success. At Isaac Newton Academy our aim is to equip every student with the knowledge, learning power and character necessary for success at university and beyond.  Staff at the school are dedicated to ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has access to an outstanding education and real choices in life.

At Isaac Newton Academy we believe that all students have the potential to achieve outstanding educational outcomes. This is reflected in how we teach and communicate with students. INA offers a friendly community where everyone is supported to be the best they can be. As a new and growing school, you will play an integral role in the evolution of INA.

We work hard to recognise hard work.  From complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit in the learning rooms to staff football teams, choirs and exercise classes, INA is more than a school, it is a community.  Staff come together for socials each term and every summer there is a staff residential conference.

  • We are Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ in all areas
  • We are located a 5 minute walk from Seven Kings station (zone 4), which is only 10 minutes from Stratford on TFL rail (soon to be Crossrail)
  • Our vision and ethos run through everything we do
  • We are part of the Ark Schools Network
  • We have an effective and consistently applied Behaviour Policy
  • We offer 10 INSET training days plus 3 Independent Learning days each year
  • We offer a unique family dining experience for all staff and students (complimentary for staff)
  • You will get the chance to progress your career within a growing school

Ofsted report

Ark Isaac Newton Academy was rated by Ofsted as “outstanding” in 2014.“High standards have been achieved by the inspirational leadership of the principal, members of the leadership team and governing body. The academy has established very high quality teaching where every student succeeds. The impact of the academy’s unique specialisation in music and mathematics is highly evident. The students are very proud of learning a ‘big band’ instrument and really enjoy music making.”
