King Edward VII School

King Edward VII School is a mainstream, state-community, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and it has over 1700 pupils on its roll, including over 600 in Sixth Form.

King Edward VII School seeks to promote the values of equality amongst its pupils, the desire to learn and achieve, the pursuit of excellence and a culture of heritage within the rich diversity of the school community. It also places great emphasis on care and respect for people and environment.

Ofsted

Outstanding leadership and management at all levels, including the contribution of the governing body, have driven the school forward very strongly and successfully since the previous inspection. This includes rapid improvement to the quality of teaching and students’ achievement. Students have positive and mature attitudes to learning. They are eager to give of their best. Students say they feel safe in school and behaviour is good; inspection findings confirm this. The vast majority are proud of their school. Attendance has improved and is now above average.
