About Rossendale School

Rossendale is a school catering for the needs of pupils whose learning disability may be affected by an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The School provides education for young people aged from 7 – 18 years of age. Our Key Stages 2, 3 and 4 are based on the main school site, whilst Key Stage 5 have a specialist sixth form building based in the local community. At Key Stage 4 and 5 we offer a wide range of GCSE subjects, BTEC Awards, Functional Skills, ASDAN and Entry Level qualifications. We currently want to expand A level courses at the sixth form provision. The school admits boys and girls on both daily and residential placements. Rossendale School has an excellent staff team who are enthusiastic and supportive. Rossendale School was judged to be 'Outstanding' in all areas by Ofsted.
