Shoreditch Park Primary School

The expert staff and unconditional support offered to me during my NQT year at Shoreditch Park has enabled me to develop as a teacher. The schools bespoke, character-based behaviour management policy provides a hook for pupils and ensures that they promote the ASPIRE values . This has provided me with an excellent foundation to create exciting and engaging lessons. I am encouraged to dialogue with leaders of subjects to help develop lesson ideas and medium term plans. The school places a big emphasis on pupil voice which has an empowering impact on the pupils, who continue to inspire me with what they are able to produce on a regular basis

Working as an NQT at Shoreditch Park primary has been a really positive experience. I have received great support from my mentor and experienced teachers in the school. I have had many opportunities to observe outstanding teaching. This, combined with the external NQT training programme that we are fortunate enough to be enrolled on, has enabled me to develop my own teaching practice. Shoreditch Park is a very friendly and well run school and I have always felt comfortable to ask for guidance when needed.
