St Edward's School

I have worked in five very different secondary schools in my career but would have no hesitation in saying that there is something very special about St Edward's. We can justifiably claim to help boys to transform their lives. This is not only through a well-crafted curriculum but, more particularly, by our being an inclusive school in which boys are given many opportunities to demonstrate a respect for human dignity, a solidarity with the less fortunate and, through a sensitive concern for others, a growing sense of their own inestimable self-worth.

There are many great things about St Edward’s; an experienced and diverse staff team, beautiful buildings and grounds offering fantastic resources we are able to offer our pupils a personalised education that is enriched with amazing opportunities.

St Edward’s School is an SEMH provision which if considered under a generally accepted framework totally understates what we as a driven and vibrant community strive to deliver. There is an optimism woven through our fabric of education and Pastoral Care which makes a palpable difference to all of our pupils. Our approach is differentiated and every child is encouraged to attest their potential. The respectful relationships forged between staff and pupils often lasts much longer than their time of statutory education. It is my honest belief that their future is our legacy.
