MPW Cambridge is seeking well-qualified teachers with a proven track record of teaching success to be a part of our renowned team at Mander Portman Woodward (MPW) for our 1:1 Support Tuition Programme.
Our Support Tuition program runs for the whole academic year with the exception of the Easter holiday break.
There may be some opportunities for further teaching within our Easter Revision programme at MPW.

Responsibilities:
As a Teacher in our 1:1 Support Tuition Programme, you will:
- Deliver high quality instruction to help students consolidate their learning at school and/or prepare for their upcoming exams.
- Tailor your teaching to students' individual needs and provide support for their learning.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Offer guidance and support to help students boost their confidence and academic skills.
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated educators and academic staff.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A relevant academic degree or teaching qualification.
- A strong passion for teaching and inspiring students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to students' learning needs and provide effective feedback.
- Previous teaching experience is an essential requirement.
- Strong knowledge of UK exam boards and their requirements in your relevant subject.

Mander Portman Woodward is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Cambridge. It is an independent school that forms part of the Mander Portman Woodward (MPW) group of schools, which also has schools in London and Birmingham. A smaller than average-sized secondary school, it will provide 240 places for secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 14-20, when fully subscribed.
The MPW organisation was established in 1973 as the “route to the UK’s top universities” for students. The Cambridge branch of MPW schools opened in 1987, occupying two linked Victorian houses and another nearby house.
