Job overview

We are looking to appoint a SEND Administrative Assistant to work within our Enhanced Resource Units (ERS).

Working under the direction and guidance of the Head of ERS, you will offer clerical and administrative support to the faculty. You will communicate effectively with students, parents and outside agencies, as well as other faculties within the Academy, to provide an effective administration service. You will also maintain effective SEND organisational systems and triage enquiries from inside and outside the Academy.

In this role, you will ensure a first-class professional response to a wide range of needs to create a positive and supportive impression of the Academy.

This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave where you will work 37 hours per week at 38.2 weeks, term time plus a September INSET day. The hours are 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 3.30pm on Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
