Due to significant growth in the Secondary School, we are offering a unique opportunity for an AFL teacher to join our team in January 2025. About the role

We are looking to appoint an AFL Teacher to join our amazing team who:

· Is an outstanding and passionate practitioner and leader

· Has experience in teaching AFL from Grade 7 to Grade 12.

· Is passionate about teaching and learning with a commitment to continuous improvement

· Will be committed to the vision of igniting passion, purpose and potential in our students

· Can contribute to the development of the Arabic Department offering creative opportunities to enrich the learning experience of students at THIS

· Adapts the curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining overall class progress

· Assesses and records student development, while identifying problem areas and areas which need attention and improvement

· Has excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, parents, and school leaders

· Maintains high levels of behavior among students, while promoting safety and compliance with school rules and guidelines

· Is passionate about learning beyond the curriculum

· Has the ability to raise the profile of and opportunities for performing and visual arts at Hamilton

Criminal Background Checks

All successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory Criminal Background Checks covering the 10 years prior to their start date with the school; this will cover all countries of residence during that period.

The Hamilton International School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. A minimum of 3 years teaching experience is required, preferably with experience in International Baccalaureate (Arabic).
