We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Head of Year to join our team and help create a positive and inspiring learning environment for our students. Are you passionate about supporting student success and well-being? Are you ready to take on a pivotal, non-teaching role in a thriving school community?
As an Assistant Head of Year, you’ll be at the heard of student support, providing guidance and mentorship, fostering a strong sense of community and addressing any challenges that may arise. Working closely with the Head of Year, you’ll play a key role in supporting students in their academic progress, behaviour and attendance and personal development initiatives.
Your contributions will empower students to achieve their full potential in all areas of school life. The successful candidate will possess a passion and enthusiasm to learn and progress in their role. Experience in supporting educational activities and/or administrative tasks within a school would be an advantage, as we encourage colleagues to contribute at all levels, but full training will be provided.

We work hard to enhance the links with our feeder schools. This ensures the progression to secondary school is successful and happy for both students and parents/carers. An extensive transition programme supports this process.
