Welcome to Shoreditch Park Primary School! We are a fully subscribed, two form entry OFSTED outstanding primary school set in the heart of Hackney.

We are looking for a passionate and ambitious assistant headteacher to lead the Early Years Foundation Stage. The ideal candidate will have a genuine commitment to ensuring that our children receive the best possible education and as a result lead by example as both a teacher and a leader. We particularly welcome applications from people of Black, Asian, and minority ethnic descent for this position. 

We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher to join us in September who:

  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of what constitutes outstanding teaching and learning 
  • Has a strong understanding of the skills and knowledge that exemplify outstanding EYFS provision
  • Shows commitment to ensuring equality of opportunity for all learners
  • Is reflective, open to feedback and driven to be outstanding
  • Is a dedicated team player, working with the leadership team to problem solve and ensure the school works efficiently
  • Demonstrates optimism about children and expects the highest possible standards.
  • Has experience of teaching in inner city schools with a high proportion of disadvantaged pupils 
  • Is an incredibly diligent and hard working professional
