We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Subject Leader of Mathematics to assist with the next step in the department’s development. The right candidate will be an exceptional teacher with a commitment to academic excellence and inspiring a love of learning in young people. They will play a pivotal role in securing the very best outcomes for the students of Mathematics. We are looking for someone who will be involved in providing an enriched curriculum and opportunities to stretch and challenge all students. Our Lady’s Roman Catholic High School is a mainstream, co-educational secondary school for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Higher Blackley, Manchester, and it has 850 students on its roll.

School leaders, including governors, have an accurate understanding of the school’s strengths and areas for development. They are determined to continue improving opportunities for pupils. Senior leaders have taken effective measures to improve levels of literacy. Teachers provide pupils with opportunities to develop their speaking skills and practise their use of standard English.”
