Attendance Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual. We require an Attendance Officer with a strong track record in a fast paced and diverse school, to promote regular attendance among our students.  

Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and manage student attendance records, implement strategies to improve attendance rates, and liaise with students, parents, and external agencies to address attendance-related issues. 

This role requires excellent people skills, computer literacy, a sound grasp of data and excellent written language skills. The successful applicant must be a confident, approachable and professional individual, with the ability to take a proactive approach to building strong links with our families and community.    

Previous experience working in a similar school-based role is a preferred. 

  • Salary will be paid at NJC SCP Grade 6, Point 7-12, £21,432.13 to £23,309.52 per annum (actual salary) 
  • 37 hours per week: Monday – Thursday 8.00am-4.00pm, Friday 8.00am–3.30pm
