Attendance Officer

Olga Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS Check and any appointment will be subject to references.

NJC Scale 6 - points 18-20, 20 hours per week, 39 weeks

We are looking for a resilient, determined and proactive person to join our school to take on the important role of supporting to improve our childrens' attendance and puncutality. The right candidate will work alongside the senior leadership team in helping children and families who require support.

You will be able to build excellent relationships with families and consider the best possible options to support families. You will liaise with outside agencies in order to reach the right support and also be able to signpost families to alternative support.

You will:

• Be dedicated to achieving high quality care and provision for all children.
• Be committed to high standards for yourself and others.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work in partnership with enthusiastic and supportive staff, parents, governors and the wider community.
• Demonstrate a passion for and expertise in child protection and safeguarding
• Meet the criteria as outlined in the person specification.
