Your Role as a Design and Technology Teacher
Dive into the dynamic field of Design and Technology and inspire pupils to turn ideas into reality. Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching a range of disciplines, including Product Design, Resistant Materials, and Engineering, across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Designing engaging and practical lessons that encourage problem-solving and creativity.
- Preparing pupils for success in IGCSE and AS examinations.
- Leading project-based learning that integrates modern tools and sustainable practices.
- Supporting pupils’ academic and personal growth through tailored mentorship.
- Collaborating with a team of forward-thinking educators to enhance the D&T curriculum.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for innovative educators who:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Possess a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Have experience teaching Design and Technology subjects at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Are familiar with the British National Curriculum.
- Demonstrate excellent workshop management skills and a passion for hands-on learning.
- Value collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional development.
- Communicate effectively and inspire pupils to achieve their potential.
