Are you looking for a fantastic new opportunity?

Phoenix Academy is looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to co-lead the management, coordination and implementation of academy wide and individual behaviour management systems. Part of your duties will also consist of the supervision of students at lunchtimes and to contribute to a safe, calm and orderly environment.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated and has experience of working with children of relevant age with additional needs, in a similar setting.

The successful candidate will be motivated, patient, and able to use their own initiative. They must be able to demonstrate excellent numeracy and literacy skills and have obtained higher-level Teaching Assistant status / Level 4 qualification.

About the roles

Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant – 32.5 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

NJC Scale: 17 – 21 | £28,770 - £30,825 pro rata | Actual Salary: £21,735 - £23,277

Midday Supervisor – 2.5 hours per week / 38 weeks per year

NJC Scale: 2 | £22,266 pro rata | Actual Salary: £1,266
