The Careers Leader will plan and implement a strategy for developing the careers programme at Arnold Hill Spencer Academy that meets all of the eight Gatsby Benchmarks of good practice and prepares young people for the choices and transitions in education, training and employment. The ideal candidate will be able to operate within a dynamic and forward-thinking team who are focused on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences for students across the 11-18 age range. The Careers Leader needs to be a L6 trained and qualified careers advisor.
The Academy is committed to working to best meet the needs of all students and therefore the successful candidate will demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm in supporting young people. The successful candidate will work towards fulfilling the Academy’s commitment to a high quality of service and will promote the Academy’s ethos.

Student attainment and progress is above national average at GCSE and well above average at A Level. We are currently full to capacity in most year groups with waiting lists for students hoping to join.
