About the Role and You
Contract type: 4 Days a week - flexible, permanent, all year round
Salary: 28-30k FTE (dependent on experience)
Start date: January 2025
Your principal role will be to organise and deliver military and adventure training to the CCF students. This role is central to the smooth and efficient running of the Contingent and the development of the leadership potential of Cadets.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out instruction and training.
- Planning and delivering military and adventurous instruction and training to CCF Staff and Cadets, including mandatory safety tests.
- Assisting with training camps.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality programmes to young people in the DofE group.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who has:
- Held senior rank in the Armed Forces (Regular Reserve or Army Cadet) – SNCO or Warrant Officer status (desirable).
- A category D1 driving license, or a willingness to undertake training to fulfil the requirements.
- Experience working with young people from 11 to 18 years old.
- The ability to be a strong and positive role model.
- Experience of running DofE and CCF programmes.
