There is an exciting and rare opportunity to join the thriving and ambitious Faculty of Healthcare, Childcare and Public Services in a newly created role as Clinical Education Manager. The faculty delivers Healthcare courses from Level 2 to Level 5 and is committed to contribute to the development of the clinical workforce of the future for our region. We pride ourselves in delivering high quality teaching, learning and training and have exceptional links with employers with whom we work in partnership. 

We are looking for an individual who is inspirational in all they do and has the drive and skill to manage and support teams cross-faculty. You will manage the clinical curriculum at all levels in the faculty, with particular emphasis on our Higher Technical Education which currently comprises a newly approved FdSc Assistant Practitioner programme and to which we will add Nursing Associate in the near future. The role will have an external facing aspect liaising with our NHS and healthcare partners to ensure full collaboration and managing the work of a team of dedicated placement officers. You will work closely with the Head and the Deputy Head of Faculty and will contribute to the wider faculty agenda. 

You will have significant experience of working in Healthcare and will be a Nurse or Midwife. You will hold a recognised teaching qualification for the Further Education and Skills sector.

You will join an experienced Faculty Management Group (FMG) that is extremely supportive and committed to working collaboratively and sharing best practice.
