Richard Huish College has a strong reputation regionally in its offer of a wide range of A level and vocational courses in Taunton and the surrounding areas in Somerset.

 

This is an exciting time to join our Huish Sport and the Huish Tigers Basketball. The role provides an opportunity to work with college students supporting the development of the current basketball program. This role will also work closely with the Huish Tigers Basketball club in developing and managing the community aspect of our basketball provision with a keen interest in our fast growing women’s program. We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and self-motivated individual to join the Huish Sport and Huish Tigers team. If you are a confident communicator with the ability to work well with students and colleagues and have experience of working in sports development, we look forward to hearing from you. 

 

·        Hours: 16hrs per week, all year round, evening and weekend work required

·        Salary: SP13 £27,747 FTE (£11,998 actual salary) 

·        Start date: 27th of August 2024 (subject to checks)

·        Closing date: 9am on 5th August 2024 

·        Interview date: wk bg 12th August 2024

Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College situated in Taunton, the County town of Somerset. Huish prides itself on its academic excellence and strong reputation across Somerset and the Southwest, it is more than a Sixth Form College, it is a place where students can expand their horizons and develop their futures. Huish is also one of the best Sixth Form Colleges in the country, with strong outcomes and a long history of ‘adding value’ to students.
