Cover Manager

37 hours per week – term time plus one week to include some INSET days 7.30am – 3.05pm

This is an exciting leadership position for a candidate who has a passion that education can “transform lives through learning”. We are looking to welcome a colleague to join our team who has a strong ambition that our school can serve every child in the community and a belief that we learn every day from experiences and our colleagues.

Supporting our students in the absence of a teacher is a crucial role in keeping our students focused on their learning. Our school provides an efficient and effective service to ensure that all lessons have robust cover processes in place in the event that a teacher is unavailable for their lesson. As Cover Manager you will lead this strong team with a positive and flexible approach ensuring the highest level of cover teaching alongside the smooth running and continual development of this very important service for our school.

Theale Green School is part of the Activate Learning Education Trust consisting of six secondary schools.
