Are you an aspiring teacher or experienced TA/HLTA looking for a Cover Supervisor position at a forward-thinking, growing secondary school?

de Stafford are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to cover lessons during staff absences. This role will be well suited for candidates who are looking to start their career in teaching, experienced teachers looking for flexibility, or experienced TA/HLTA’s . We are interested in hearing from all candidates, no matter what point in your career you are currently at.

You will be providing effective cover supervision for lessons on a regular basis, and providing stability and continuity for students whose lessons are affected by short-term teacher absence. Lesson plans and materials will be provided and your role will include registering the form or class, engaging students and ensuring they complete the tasks provided by the teacher, and managing the classroom. You will have the opportunity to cover a wide variety of subjects.

de Stafford is an 11-16 comprehensive school located in Caterham, Surrey which joined GLF Schools MAT in December 2016. The school has a PAN of 180 students per year group. The school serves predominantly the local Caterham community with the majority of students residing within the CR3 catchment area.

Pay Scale: GLF Specialist

Actual Salary: £21,189 - £24,110 (dependent on experience)

Working Pattern: 33.75 hours per week, term time only (0815 - 1530 Mon to Fri)
